Hammond Iles Charity Match

We’re taking action to help those in need.

Kindness, patience and partnership will get us through

Together we are facing challenges we could have never predicted.  The global COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life.  Over the last month we’ve spoken with many of our clients to check in and find out what this experience is like for them.  After hearing our clients’ stories and concerns our team felt inspired to take action for you, your family and your community.

Supporting Our Communities

At this point most of us know of someone laid off from their job, has fallen ill, is dealing with unexpected changes or is struggling financially.  You can help us make a difference in the lives of the people negatively impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Hammond Iles will match 100% of your donations made to these charitable organizations up to a total of $25,000.

Here’s how:

  1. Select the charity or charities you would like to support
  2. Make a donation to the organization
  3. Send a copy of your donation receipt to clientcare@hammondiles.com or our office at
100 Great Meadow Road, Suite 701, Wethersfield, CT 06109
  4. We will match your donation(s) to the organization(s) you chose

Kindness, patience and partnership will get us through this.  Be well and stay safe.

Air Hugs,

Greg Hammond and Scott Iles

HUNGER

FOODSHARE - www.foodshare.org

Last year Foodshare distributed enough food for more than 11 million meals in the Greater Hartford area.  In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak Foodshare is continuing their mobile Foodshare program to bring food assistance to various communities.  Foodshare also continues to supply food to partner food pantries and meal programs.  Donate at http://site.foodshare.org/site/PageServer?pagename=coronavirus

VERMONT FOODBANK - www.vtfoodbank.org

The Vermont Foodbank created the COVID-19 hunger Relief Fund.  Not everyone has the financial stability to stock up on the two weeks of food needed for quarantine. Kids are home from school, businesses are closing, many friends and neighbors are out of work or isolated at home. You can help make sure that pantries are filled and that people are prepared to take good care of themselves and their loved ones.  It is more important than ever to ensure that anyone in Vermont who needs a meal can get one. FEEDING AMERICA - www.feedingamerica.org
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we are committed to serving communities and individuals facing hunger across America, wherever they are. Every dollar raised from the COVID-19 response fund will be used to get food and funds to local food banks across the U.S.  You can help make sure we can be there for our neighbors in need during this time of uncertainty. 4-CT CONNECTICUT COVID-19 CHARITY CONNECTION - www.4-ct.org

With the unprecedented challenges Connecticut and its residents currently face, the Connecticut COVID-19 Charity Connection (4-CT) was launched as a non-profit that unites donors with state-wide programs that will help make an immediate impact. We’re working together with the Community Foundations of the State of Connecticut to get funds into the hands of those who need help the most: childcare for first responders, food banks, and more; those already in need before this crisis began. CDP CENTER FOR DISASTER PHILANTHROPY - www.disasterphilanthropy.org

In response to the outbreak, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) has launched the CDP COVID-19 Response Fund to support preparedness, containment, response and recovery activities for those affected and for the responders.

The CDP COVID-19 Response Fund will focus on supporting nonprofit organizations working directly to respond to the pandemic among the most vulnerable populations in order to help build their capacity for response. These will include social service organizations focused on supporting hourly wage earners, workers in the gig economy, immigrant/New American populations, older adults, people with disabilities and other communities vulnerable to the physical health, mental health and economic impacts of the pandemic.
