Kindness, Patience And Partnership will Get Us Through

Together we are facing challenges we could have never predicted. The global COVID-19 pandemic affected all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. Over the past years we’ve spoken with many of our clients to check in and find out what this experience is like for them. After hearing our clients’ stories and concerns our team felt inspired to take action for you, your family and your community.

Supporting our Communities

At this point most of us know of someone laid off from their job, has fallen ill, is dealing with unexpected changes or is struggling financially. You can help us make a difference in the lives of the people negatively impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Hammond Iles will match 100% of your donations made to these charitable organizations up to a total of $25,000.

Here’s how:

  1. Select the charity or charities you would like to support
  2. Make a donation to the organization
  3. Send a copy of your donation receipt to or our office at 100 Great Meadow Road, Suite 701, Wethersfield, CT 06109
  4. We will match your donation(s) to the organization(s) you chose

Kindness, patience and partnership will get us through this. Be well and stay safe.

Air Hugs,

Greg Hammond and Scott Iles

Last year Foodshare distributed enough food for more than 11 million meals in the Greater Hartford area. In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak Foodshare is continuing their mobile Foodshare program to bring food assistance to various communities. Foodshare also continues to supply food to partner food pantries and meal programs. Donate at

The Vermont Foodbank created the COVID-19 hunger Relief Fund. Not everyone has the financial stability to stock up on the two weeks of food needed for quarantine. Kids are home from school, businesses are closing, many friends and neighbors are out of work or isolated at home. You can help make sure that pantries are filled and that people are prepared to take good care of themselves and their loved ones. It is more important than ever to ensure that anyone in Vermont who needs a meal can get one. Donate at!/donation/checkout?c_src=website&c_src2=homeSlide

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we are committed to serving communities and individuals facing hunger across America, wherever they are. Every dollar raised from the COVID-19 response fund will be used to get food and funds to local food banks across the U.S. You can help make sure we can be there for our neighbors in need during this time of uncertainty. In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation has established three funds:

COVID-19 Emergency Fund
Caring for the Caregivers Fund
Greatest Need Children’s Fund

Yale New Haven Hospital has established two emergency funds to provide critical support to the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 PPE/Capital Provision Fund directed toward capital expenses, including personal protection (PPE) and medical equipment. The COVID-19 Support Fund will be directed toward operational expenses and staff support, including food for our frontline staff. This fund will help enable frontline clinical staff to sustain their resilience and continue to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients and community. As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, specific demands may increase or change. These COVID-19 funds are designed to provide assistance as needs are identified during this unprecedented crisis. COVID-19 Response

The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia has launched the COVID-19 Response Fund for Northern Virginia. The Fund will attract and provide flexible funding resources for nonprofit organizations and other programs in our region responding to COVID-19 and its impacts. The Fund’s focus will be to help communities who are disproportionately impacted by the virus and its economic consequences. The Fund is designed to complement the work of public health officials, as COVID-19 is a public health issue, and as such, funding decisions will be made in consultation with them across our entire service area in Northern Virginia.

With the unprecedented challenges Connecticut and its residents currently face, the Connecticut COVID-19 Charity Connection (4-CT) was launched as a non-profit that unites donors with state-wide programs that will help make an immediate impact. We’re working together with the Community Foundations of the State of Connecticut to get funds into the hands of those who need help the most: childcare for first responders, food banks, and more; those already in need before this crisis began. In response to the outbreak, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) has launched the CDP COVID-19 Response Fund to support preparedness, containment, response and recovery activities for those affected and for the responders.

The CDP COVID-19 Response Fund will focus on supporting nonprofit organizations working directly to respond to the pandemic among the most vulnerable populations in order to help build their capacity for response. These will include social service organizations focused on supporting hourly wage earners, workers in the gig economy, immigrant/New American populations, older adults, people with disabilities and other communities vulnerable to the physical health, mental health and economic impacts of the pandemic.

Connecticut Children’s Medical Center

Together with clients we’ve raised over $100,000 for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Your support provides the care kids deserve.

So far we've provided much need equipment, funded a patient care bay and helped fund the new infusion and dialysis centers.

We match your donations dollar for dollar. Please make your check payable to: CT Children’s and mail to our Wethersfield, CT office. You’ll receive a confirmation of your donation for your records.

Thank you for supporting a great cause that touches so many families!
