Vice President, Financial Coach
It takes a true leader to do today what will benefit the greatest number of people tomorrow.
Scott Iles is that leader.
To his clients, this means they can trust that he has a clear view of the strategies that will best help them reach their goals.
Scott’s reassuring presence helps make complex issues such as long term care, Medigap policies, Social Security, and life insurance easy to understand. For those who fear the unknown or don’t fully understand where investing is going, Scott puts it all in clear language, demonstrating the 3 rules for investing success and how they influence investment returns.
Scott fearlessly explores how the firm can save money for investors and get better results.
He believes it’s not enough to just keep up with rapid change but it’s also essential to help clients keep up too. To that end, he and his business partner, Greg Hammond offer a series of investor education events for families, companies, and community groups to help them invest for success.
Having served in the financial services industry for over 25 years, Scott is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Naugatuck Valley College, Waterbury, CT with a degree in Finance. Scott co-hosted the radio show, “Planning for Tomorrow” on WTIC News Talk 1080 for over 3 years. His early career success with The Hartford and Webster Bank saw him thrive in investing and insurance. He gained a wealth of knowledge in retirement planning, and investments designed to capture market rate returns.
In 2005 Scott and his colleague Greg Hammond became business partners, acquiring Kelly Financial Group from its founder, Walter J. Kelly, Jr. They made a smooth transition without losing a single client. In 2012 Kelly Financial Group rebranded to Hammond Iles Wealth Advisors and continues to grow and flourish.
Scott applies the same passions in both his business endeavors and his active support of the CT Children’s Medical Center, which he holds dear.
Scott resides in Wolcott, CT. Among his many life achievements, he’s most proud of his devotion to his wife Melissa and their two sons. In his downtime, Scott enjoys entertaining friends, fly fishing, travel, and time with his family.
